Don't get me wrong, it looks stunning but it is Crete. You can get similar styled accomodation in places like the Seychelles for those prices which are a huge leap above Crete in all fairness.
Rhodes is a great island, especially down by lindos, been to a few parts and often head to the old rhodes town for the evenings food, Crete wasnt a fan, thought it was right grubby Kefelonia was ok, but not a patch on rhodes Kos used to go every year for a while, loved it, but havent been for a good few years Corfu we were in a really nice bit well down south, but it was just too far from civilisation, altough the hotel was cracking
whatever island ive always found great scoff and quiet areas
