Best plasterer in south Yorkshire, haha. can do all the old fashioned shit not many my age can, put in ridiculous hours cos I was a greedy cunt and managed to get carpal tunnel and tendinitis, which has slowed me down but I'm still mint, got 3 other lads I often keep in work, I'm just absolutely terrible at the book work and remembering stuff. I also hate my job but I take pride it my work cos I want happy customers.
I'm also fairly handy at putting big engines in small cars which keeps me busy on weekends

When I'm not at Uni (although I'm actually going home this weekend to work) I support 2 adults with severe learning disabilities usually working the night shift. Been working there 4 years now and used to love it. Can't quite put my finger on why but lot less motivated for it this past year and finding it increasingly difficult - however it is a lot more difficult than a couple of years ago because of one of the blokes health. Am I any good? Yes, I'm professional and reliable but can't say I have the passion for it like some of the staff I work with.

This. The fact that I'm on here at the moment sums it up.
Going in the Navy in June though so it'll be a different story then.

I operate 5 different offshore cranes on different platforms and they all have their own faults. I knowe them inside out which makes my job easier therefore making me a better operator. Ontop of that I know all the rules and regs regarding offshore crane use and that is invaluable, expecially when the company I sub contract to try to pressurise me to complete a task that is a touch risky. Once I come out with well this procedure or reg prohibits me from doing such and such they are fucked.
