There are better pubs/bars in the centre than up Broad St. Loads of trendy bars in the Arcadian if thats your bag, Irish bars down Digbeth ( on the way to the Blues ground ), in the centre there is the Troc, Shakespeare, Joint Stock and Briar Rose within a 2 minute walk of each other all good Saturday football pubs. If you do however go up Broad St then the Lloyds bar is the Solomon Cutler at the bottom near the NIA, then just walk up and there are dozens of different places. Enjoy your visit to Englands second city. I just hope you don't beat us by too many.

Thank you UncleAlbert,
last time I went to Villa I was in a Corporate Box wearing a suit Peter Crouch and Lee Hendry were in the box next door.
We are on a roll at the moment...but remember this is Fulham away! I predict a 1-1 draw.
Dirty old river, must you keep rolling, Flowing into the night.......
Be a good bet that. We are dreadful under McLeish and looks like we will stay up only due to there being some really poor sides below us. Fulham are able to turn on the style though especially that big Russian who scored a hat trick last week.
If you have a drink in either of the Troc,Shakespeare, Briar Rose or Joint Stock they are very close to the shops Atoo and Autograph so may be worth popping in to have a look just ask for directions as most well dressed lads around Brum will know where they are. If you do have a drink by the ground the away fans pub is the Witton Arms. It is opposite Witton station a 2 minute walk from the ground.

So how was your day mate? What pubs did you end up in? I bet you were impressed with Birmingham after coming from that London eh. Shame about the score for you lot, you certainly didn't deserve to lose.

we had a top day thanks...ended up in the Briar Rose and the pub next door before the game....then afterwards we ended up in a pub not far from the station.
Yep, if you haven't won at home for ages who would you most like to play!! fair play to Villa for knicking it at the end.
