Agreed, if Utd are top of the premiership and beat like they were, it shows how poor the rest of the teams under United really are concidering this is the worst United side in the last 5 years at least.

Some do let themselves down with silly statements like that when they know they have the same amount of out of town support themselves.

Said tongue in cheek mate its called banter
Which is why the bite emotioncon was put at the end of my post.
Quote by scud783can see this bibao side being torn apart in the summer , they have a few great players an will no get loads of big bids in the summer, la liga seems to be miles apart in class to the '' greatest league in the world'' the premiership.
Technique wise La Liga is better but overall The premiership is a better league no doubt, why do you think Mourinho wants to come back? The Premiership is much more competitive.
Quote by nefcneither league is competitive in terms of winning it but theirs is miles better in terms of quality. premier league is overpriced and largely dull
not sure I'd call the PL dull but generally, the spanish league seems to contain much more technical quality. But then again, as posted earlier in the thread, Utd, Arsenal, us certainly are all pale immitations of the teams of 5-10 years ago. Only the yids and possibly Citeh (as you'd expect) seem to be better than 5-10. And I'll leave the Liverpool status for others to debate
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
sure , Man U 8 v Arsenal 2 , Arsenal 5 v Spurs 2 , Chelsea 3 v Man U 3 , Liverpool 3 v Everton 0 ... really really dull ...
pppfffiiitttt ,,,
I think your missing the point. All of those games feature teams from the top 5/6. Look at the rest of the league and there are some painfully dull games. Who wants to watch Villa vs Wigan? In Spain it seems like the higher average level fo technical ability and emphasis on skill/athleticism gives birth to a more entertaining league at all levels rather than just the very top.
well , sorry , but whenever I watch a La Liga game all I see are 20 players continually rolling around , conning the ref , and generally embarrassing themselves .. even Real against Barcelona is no longer worth watching ..
as for some lower placed teams , I watched QPR V Bolton , now that was a good game worth watching ... Swansea v Man City too ..
The sunday night games are completely shit in the main, everything's laid back and players have got time to eat paella and wash it down with a couple of sangrias before anyone puts a challenge in. Compare it to the Prem which is 100mph and much more exciting, a lot more action which makes the league much better to watch.

Disagree completely but think its a matter of taste. The Premiership is like Scott Parker - aggressive, in your face, break neck and sometimes brilliant whereas La Liga is like Xavi - more complex but also supremely more talented
maybe its just me. good for those who like it but i think its dull. cant remember the last good game i saw in the 'pl'. it does nothing for me. overpriced and massively underwhelming the vast majority of the time.

That's par for the course for an Everton fan though.
