Good or bad idea?

Would it work or would it encourage gangs to exploit the situation and/or 'snatch' the finished product, perhaps in a violent manner?

There has been a run of folk getting turned over for this around our neck of the woods. Mainly gypsies doing the robbing. Can't imagine it to be a friendly experience!

I know a few people that has done it for years and never been caught. I'd say half of Barnsley grow it, can smell it nearly on every street. If I could get away with it I would grow it but with my luck I'd get caught.

Drugs always end up at the school gate, they should increase the sentances imo to deter people ,

Doesn't really work like that though pal ( at least in Holland it doesn't), several studies have proved that increasing sentences doesn't have the effect your after. The key to lowering crime is, increase the chance to get caught. There is no point in increasing sentences if peope believe they will get away with it, at least that's what my professor said about it as we had a similar question during class.

We all have different views on the matter but i have seen first hand what it can do , life sentance for a pal of mine ,owed his dealer a few quid so whilst high killed another , drugs turned him into a nasty piece of work ,real shame as I grew up with him , came from a nice family ect, the fella he owed got ran over and killed 2 weeks later ,
My mate will be out when he is 58 if he don't kill himself .

With the price of it now a lot of people have been forced to grow their own.

If you do it dont tell anyone, none of yoir mates, get a good set up so no one can smell it or hear the extractors, and get someone from another town to take it off your hands. We all know people who do or have done it for years, people whove been locked up and people whove been robbed. Dont fuck around with meter bypasses as thats considered worse than growing. Alternatively do the booze cruise bus to belguim and get a few out of work mates to go with you. You pay everything and give em some money for the trouble, just get baccy. 23hours round trip from sheff. Can be just as lucretive. All my mates have been doing this for me, i give each 100quid four of em go. I make 600quid everytime they go. My dad goes weekly.

and as said above tell nae cunt,i had a mate come round once when ma other mate was up the loft tending tae the crop,i had tae turn the music right up so he wouldnt hear him moving about,also had some mates say they could hear a whirring noise(it was the fans) i blamed it on ma faulty fridge...the flat was reeking of weed but we were always smokin it so got away wi that....gave up the weed now anyway

To be honest I wasn't talking about me doing it, I was asking about Spain maybe doing it to help pay off it's national debt and if they gave the all clear would it lead to other countries in Europe doing the same?

Was not the drugs that made him kill ,it must of been in him lots of people end up on drugs but only a small number decide to killl

This is something that in hindsight seems easy enough to do and sort out but believe me can go tits up, I had an experience many years ago before every street corner smelt of the aroma. Three of us chipped together and paid for the set up and used one of ours cellar. At the time we paid a grand and kitted the cellar and got the advice and seeds and off we went. Even though we had all the right gear the stench was bad, and paranoia well, almost killed me off having to check and keep on top of things. Anyway cut a story short 3/4 months later we are left with a fucking shit load of weed and a failed marriage, one of us attacked with an hammer and 3 of us all fell out. I shifted mine for stupid money due to the fact that no fucker trusted nor knew me in a new city. the other two fell out seriously over monies owed and we dont see each other no more. Thats my experience and have been approached many times with my cellar space and rural locaion, but its not worth it. You need to be in the circles to make a decent return, its a very controlled scene distributing and cultivating. When somebody turns up with a good few oz to sell questions are asked and you certainly wont make much selling to a few pals. Much easier ways to make money on that scale. By all means try it. but to me more hassle than worth.
Certainly not something I would not do alone and then it gets complicated. Funny how greed becomes the main priority. The worst things is the sentences if actually caught are laughable.

Yes my pal does too and makes a lot of monies, probably one the biggest to in the north. loads of loopholes, and they have a lot of stuff which is exported to overseas.
Surprisingly too when in the shop a hell of a lot of customers seem to be vietnamese
