Quote by mkj1972Minority of "fans" chanting & booing during the minutes silence for the Hillsborough victims - Scum of the highest order no respect or class at all.I know there are Chelsea fans on the forum & i`m sure they will not condone it either.
personally, I don't condone. Not at all. no fan should to football and not come back whether its Hillsborough, Heysel, Glasgow, Bradford, Leeds, etc....So no I don't condone it. Same way I expect you don't condone Liverpool fans singing Munich songs when you play Utd. Correct? Every club has their 'fans' who indulge in this. Why it happened? maybe they arrived in too pissed up to realise or care. Or maybe some of them got striped at Liverpool in Stanley Knife Park years ago or got one of those 'twattings' your mates on here are referring to and therefore don't share much love for Liverpool supporters. Or maybe they share the school of thought that Liverpool fans weren't blameless at Hillsborough. All in all, I don't know why they did it but they did. But we're no different to other clubs - ask Mac about Millwall holding Turkey flags up to Leeds, or Utd Pool games with Hillsborough-Munich songs being swapped. "scum" as you call them at every club mate if that's the criteria.....
As you say every club has those sort of "fans" but we are not on about other clubs we are talking today about your club Chelsea, those "fans" should be ashamed of themselves 96 people including kids lost there lives through no fault of there own.The only disaster Liverpool have been responsible for is the Heysel diaster which is a shameful period in Liverpools history. As for Liverpool fans singing about Munich yes that used to happen but not anymore.
As I've already said, I don't condone it. Personally, have said before, the families deserve an apology from the Government following the inquiry given that's what happened with Bloody Sunday. So no, personally I've no time for indulging in that nonsense regardless of what the tragedy is about.
Who said Liverpool were responsibly for any disaster? I only mentioned Heysel as one of many high profile instances of deaths at football. I'm not debating blame at all on it.
as for the Munich/Hillsborough singing, I know some of your own fans would disagree with the singing not happening - right up to this season in fact. Both sides, still doing it - but you can debate that one with the Utd fans. Just going on people I know who go and threads I've read following Utd-Pool games.
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
Munich gets sung, but by a slim minority... compare that to half of Old Trafford chanting 'murderers' every time we play them (and even when we're not playing them), or senior Manchester United players signing about Heysel on the pitch in Moscow...
RamseesCFC is hilarious by the way, he says he doesn't condone disrespecting the minute's silence then goes on to list a number of (ridiculous) excuses. He is right that there is a dickhead element in every club's support, but over the last few years Chelsea have been consistently amongst the worst with regard to this sort of thing, which is a bit odd as there is almost no history of proper 'rivalry'. It's as if they're desperate for us to not like them. Well, they've succeeded... cunt of a football club, cunts of supporters. See you at Wembley.

Except that is not aimed at Hillsborough is it? It's about a certain event in Belgium and the way your club handled it in the days following, you know, blaming supporters from other clubs and stuff.

okay, I'll go point by point then.. 1. Ramsees is hilarious - good so far 2. Ridiculous excuses? they're observations on why it happened - not excuses. Which one is ridiculous? giving a minutes silence for fans that left you with a scar from stanley knife? arriving so pissed you make a cunt of yourself? or not agreeing with the inquiry and believing pissed up pool fans were partly to blame? Can't make my mind up as they are all plausible as far as I'm concerned. 3. Making you a rival? No concerted effort I'm afraid. You're no more a rival than you ever were off the pitch so sorry to rain on that parade. It's pretty simple - put it down to a handful of high profile games in recent years. That's all. 4. "See you at Wembley" ? hopefully, you'll cringe when you read this in the morning....but I'm sure if you're really eager to twat us, then we organise a forum meet and me, Wrighty, big Steve and Colm can come over to receive our commuppence. Of course, big Steve is about the size of that new titanic building just opened in Belfast to make sure you muster a few bigguns on your side

Quote by FieldsThey really are horrible cunts, the worst in football without doubt. Absolute scum the lot of them and I hope they get twatted all over the place when we play them at Anfield/Wembley.
how fucking rich coming from fans that sing songs about Busby Babes ..
I dont like ANY singing about fans who have lost their lives or players , I dont have that kinda hatred in my heart ...
Even at the Bridge , hearing our fans singing ' MURDERERS ' is pathetic beyond belief ...
every club has good and bad fans , dont get that hot under the collar it blights your opinion ...
Quote by ryanSerious question: last I heard from this inquiry into Hillsborough it was found that the Liverpool fans were to blame. Now I only seen this as a headline and haven't seen anything since. Was that actually their verdict?
Actually, the opposite. The fans were exonerated by the inquiry.
Appalling from Chelsea but I reckon some Lpool fans will be delighted - yet another opportunity for them to play the victim card. Professional mourners who seem ashamed of nothing but offended by everything.

These the people who made that northampton player cry earlier this season ?
I think Chelsea's problem was that they had to play the game on the Sunday (with the CL semi final on Wednesday) instead of the Saturday because of Liverpool's refusal to play on the 15th.

Yeah, a lot of rumours that it was some sort of planned disruption by some at Liverpools refusal to play today an the FAs refusal to make it a Friday night game. Don't know who by or how many exactly as am only on cfc.net and can't see any involvement from there.
PRobably some felt it had some credence following Alan Davies comments. Ultimately the game timing was the FAs doin so can't see what disrupting the silence would achieve other than cause embarrassment to the club.

Was a joke of a kick off time, I cant recall any match in England kicking off later than 4 o clock on a Sunday.

Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut and look stupid rather than open your mouth and prove it. Would it have hurt to actually check if what you were writing had any semblance of truth to it before just posting a statement that's likely to offend several members on here?

Are you for real?!
I'm sure there are very few Liverpool supporters who are in any way proud of what happened at Heysel. I'm sure that there are a minority of Liverpool supporters who have chanted about Munich, absolutely disgusting behaviour which proves every club has their fair share of bellend fans. I'm also sure that there are lots of Liverpool supporters who are/were deeply affected by the events at Hillsborough and wish to pay their respects as they see fit. There's fuck all wrong with a minute's silence to commemorate it and for some (I repeat, some) Chelsea supporters to disrupt that is an absolute fucking disgrace, regardless of their opinion of Liverpool Football Club.

Blame solely with the FA - whether it's in dealing with the Liverpool situation or alternatively not letting us play on Friday evening. They've set their principle clear anyways - no assistance given to help English clubs in Europe. On the up side, the result tonight will hopefully spur us on to a decent performance on Wed that won't end in embarrassment against the best club side about....

Spot on Glenn. I'm not one to wank over La Liga but at least they have their priorities straight as far as looking after their clubs that are competing in multiple competitions goes.

Amen.
Cunt of a thing to say that. "professional mourners" - we lost family, friends, relatives, close people that day, how would you react if you had been lied to for 23 years. "offended by everything" - a minute silence to remember the 96 was boo'd with shouts of murderers. They are calling people I know murderers, would you not be offended by that?

Fuck off ya ride. I did look for it but couldn't find anything, was looking for a simple answer. Which I got.
Whatever your views on them having a minutes silence-and you'll never get a reasoned discussion on hillsbrough- youd have to be, as someone said after Saturdays match, some kind of monster to disrupt it. It's that simple.

I was there mate, yeah. You? I love playing Everton!! The week leading up to the game is a nightmare though. I have to admit, I was worried you would do us over this time but once we came out for the 2nd half the game was only going to end one way! Fair play to your lot for the minute silence and the holding up of the blue Don't Buy The S*n posters.
