Quote by nefcim not giving you the third degree, i asked a question. you posted a thread on a forum. i'd say it's accepted there will be follow ups. sorry, didn't realise you only wanted people to agree with you. my misunderstanding
Im not asking for people to agree with me...im simply making a statement to let potential buyers know my feelings on the matter should another parcel go astray.....your entitled to an opinion but dont expect me to relish a q+a from other members.
My advice would be to always send recorded delivery, SD for something over £50, include it in the price. If the parcel goes missing, I d expect the seller to refund the money before RM settles the claim, its what I would do...

same here its not down to the buyer i always use SD unless its not worth much, were only talking about a few quid difference so its not worth the grief
I would have thought everyone on here sent expensive items by SD anyway? If I was spending a a few hundred quid on a item id like to think it was being sent insured.

I always send recorded or special delivery anyway. If a buyer thinks something is lost in the post I'd ask them to wait a few days and get on the case. If it looks like it's missing I would refund them and sort it out myself. It's not the buyer's fault, nor would it have been mine but i think it's out of order to say you won't refund them till the claim's done. It could take ages.
