In fairness to him Jack Straw has been the foremost critic of some sections of the Muslim community (that article is from well over a year ago) and on the tensions that have emerged between supposedly multi-cultural communities.

The grooming/drug supplying pedos is one extreme aspect of it. Beyond that there is a general attitude among *some* asian lads that you dont/cant shit on your own doorstep but you can do what you like to white girls. The 'community elders' or whatever wont say owt as long as they marry a good girl from back home etc. Facing that down wont stop all pedos but it will stop some. And if folks are serious about integrating in this country they need to grasp that nettle and do something about it.

Yeah it's also a problem in predominantly white communities, religious groups, childrens homes, private education, public education, homosexuals, hetrosexuals and even family homes! Just noticed this thread and I,m surprised at people labelling this an Asian problem..... thats an insult to the vast majority of hard working law abiding Asian people. What it is though is a major problem with Muslim Pakistani men and tbh if groups like the BNP and the EDL would not of vocally highlighted the subject week in week out the problem which has been evident since the late 70,s would still be swept under the carpet by our inept politicians so not to offend the already hevilly pampered towards Pakistani community...hang the fuckers i say.

This in a nutshell. The far right are correct to voice their concerns but in doing so have hindered the authorities in tackling the problem with demo's outside court and leaking verdicts.

Generally I never bother reading anything from the leftard Guardian. Gave the above link a bash and gave up about halfway through. The subtext of what I read is that any reporting of crimes perpetrated by Muslims/Asians is a racist act and we should all be ashamed of ourselves for allowing ourselves to become aware of such prosecutions. The subheading states that reporting the Rochdale case showed "how shockingly easy it is to demonise a whole community". Lies. There isn't a single report that stated that all Muslims are paedophiles yet the feeble-minded Guardianistas will believe that there is some sort of racist media conspiracy - thereby switching the blame from the criminals to the media initially and society more generally. In journalistic terms the piece was utterly worthless.
