They might as well have made a bid for MK Dons or Crawley, they obviously couldnt give a flying fuck for Cardiff or the traditions and history of the club. Poor day for the Cardiff lads
Quote by RhysI'm getting the impression that it's happening regardless. They think it's easier to market us in Asia if we're in red/dragons.
Also sounds like we're going under unless we agree to their terms.
Really ? Jesus thats unreal, its as if they are saying do it this way or screw you. Not on at all, some of these owners just take the piss these days, do they understand history and fans loyalty.

Football clubs become more and more a commodity every day.
Agree Ian, there's no doubt football is a business and a big business these days but some of these foreign owners particularly really need a wake up call at times.
Jimmy hill once tried to change Coventry city into Coventry Talbot many years ago. Talbot cars were the sponsors at the time. The older football supporter may remember the big T football kit. Hopefully this Cardiff proposal fails also.
This is disgraceful, 100 years of tradition fucked off on a whim. Apparently the Malaysians reckon red is lucky, well let me tell you sunshine reds done absolutely fuck all for Bristol city for 100 years!!

Thought you'd lot be laughing at us to be honest. The jacks are loving it
I'm really gutted to hear this. A friend of mine posted a link on facebook and I assumed the plans were for a red shirt for a season or something not a wholesale change to the clubs identity. Very depressing to hear that one of British footballs biggest names could be changed like this.
Quote by jack5You Welsh should cheer up. Red kits. Dragons. Very patriotic!
But we're Cardiff City not Wales? We're not a big club and we know that. We're happy with who we are and the limited success that we've achieved. To now be told that the team that have played in blue for 104 years are now going to be play in red and be known as the 'dragons' isn't right. There's progression and 'modern football' but this basically makes us no better than MK Dons.
