Coggles - obv Someone has previously said that Superdenim will let you pop in if you phone ahead and know what you want; they're on the outskirts Van Mildert - usual clobber There's also the Designer Outlet on the outskirts. Mostly shit but the Margaret Howell outlet is worth a look in. Sometimes good stuff in the RL Outlet.
York Minster is an incredible building. Even if you have zero interest in history or architecture you should pop in.
Go to J Bakers restaurant as said above, the owner is a friend of mine and his son is on here actually 'JackBosco'. Wont find better food in York in my opinion! Coggles is also in York which is worth a look along with van mildert.

It's the York Centre one, pretty good as has all the main city centre boozers on there, link was playing up but if you just save the PDF to your computer it works fine.
Maltings on the way from the station to the centre has always been decent when I've been and the Yorkshire Terrier is one of the York Brewery taps, a cosy little effort.
