Do we have any lads from Ireland on here?

I'm moving from germany to Co. Kildare in two month and i'm looking for some kind of accommodation / room.
So: Do you have any advises where to look? Already been browsing daft.ie and rent.ie - any more suggestions? Any help is appreciated

I'm in Dublin. To be honest I don't know Kildare too well but depending on whereabouts in Kildare you're looking at it may be worth while looking for a place in Dublin as it's not too far away?

Maynooth, it's around 15 miles from Dublin. But to be honest i don't want to commute between it and Dublin every day ...

Ah right, well you might struggle with a place to stay because it's a pretty small place with a decent size University. You could try Gumtree for share houses etc otherwise it might not hurt to check out places close to Maynooth like Celbridge, Leixlip or even Lucan.

As ILF said, Maynooth is accessible from Celbridge, Leixlip and Lucan by bus. Lucan (and maybe Leixlip) are your best options if you'd prefer to be closer to the city centre but they're big suburbs so make sure your accommodation is close to the bus lines. Maynooth is lively, especially during the week, but don't expect anything by the way of good music, gigs etc. That's mostly found in the city centre. I've never really rented around there so I couldn't advise you on that specifically.
