Having a chat with the lovely polish lady who works in Tesco and she noticed my love for beer and such and suggested i check out the the Rusian or Polish shops just down the road. She says its cheaper and much better quality than most of the crap Tesco sell. So me being me, happy to take on board good advice went to the shop down the road and was very impressed by the different types of beers they had. Not only that, they had about 6 different types of Vodka and they all looked nice and well priced. i am finding the Tesco brand very tired now and looking elsewhere for other things not just for price but for something a bit different. BTW they do a lovely russian beer called Baltika and its about 8% must be there version of special brew, tastes 100 times better though
I like these kind of shops for some of the food they sell aswell......theres loads of different wee deli type shops in Glasgows west end selling allsorts of foreign delights.....other than that id send em all home on the next boat.....
