that's a big claim - the largest in the World.....then again, at 13.5 inches he'd take all the beating
the thing that shocked me was that Vasque reads The Star
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
without wishing to ruin the thread (although some might see a natural link...), what did you think about Fergies comments? I believe it's caused a bit of a stir on your forums?

Yep, it certainly has from what I've seen. Fergie has given United fans unbelievable memories the past couple of decades and totally transformed the club because of that success and many believe that he is beyond reproach as a result. Personally I don't think it works like that and what he said in that interview was another slap in the face for what I would describe as 'real' (his words) United fans. It isn't the first time he's talked shite about the subject neither and I dare say it won't be the last. Any 'real' United fan will tell you that the Glazers are nothing more than fucking parasites and hate the cunts with a passion but I get the fact that if Fergie wanted to continue to work at United he couldn't say the same. And United fans understood that. If he'd just said 'no comment' or his favourite 'I'm not getting into that' when asked about the owners or the debt then we would have got the message. But to openly call them 'great' and then have sly digs at anyone cheeky enough to disapprove is very disappointing coming from a man who they previously adored. How can he call them great when £500Million has been raped out of the club to pay their debt?
You must have heard about his 'Why don't you fuck off and support Chelsea then' comment to a United fan who had the gall to mention the Glazers to him in an airport lounge? To be honest, I find it hard to talk about because of what he has given us but at the same time it hurts hearing him say these things. Where did that Govan socialist go?
And it's not as if he isn't aware of the loyalty United fans showed during the 70s and 80s neither. This is a foreword he wrote in 2000 for a supporters book!

yes, that foreword seems a long time ago now..... the line that got me was the one about "factions thinking they own the club"....WTF. you mean the loyal fans who've been there long before Utd were winning leagues every season, watched Liverpool dominate year after year, 2nd Div in the 70s....those fans???? A fucking crass remark on a topic that's so sensitive at Utd....I can see why this has gone down like a lead balloon. Heard about that Chelsea remark - Hungarian airport was it?
It's okay. We're gonna end up dividing the support on the ground. The CPO meeting yesterday ended in a fiasco. The old "Don't you trust Roman" mantra suddenly seems undermined a bit now when you have to resort to underhand illegal share bulk buying to land your vote.... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footbal...o=feeds-newsxml
Modern football eh.....
