Ultimate athlete. Fucking love the olympics, really regretting not getting tickets, anyone know if there are any street events next week ? cycling/running or the like ?
Eye's right, skin back tight, bollocks to the front, we're the boy's who make more noise when we're on the cunt, we're the riders of the night, and we'd rather fuck than fight, we're the riders of the Clock end Highbury
Bradley Wiggins is a MOD , is a MOD ,is a MOD , Bradley Wiggins is a MOD, and he's GINGER !!!! XD
Well done Wiggo Sports Personality of the year definately , but ,.............. you aint no style icon as stated so many times on TWATTER.
"I live for myself and answer to no one." ~ Steve McQueen. " I wear what I like and I like what I wear." ~ Adam. " It's always been just part of the culture. Growing up, for most working-class kids, is all about football, music and clothes. You might not have much money, but whatever you have got, you're going to look good." ~ Weller.

Must admit I thought he came across like he was trying a bit hard to be funny or 'out there' in an interview on bbc just now. "Great to ride here, wherever we are, infront of this great setting whatever that castle is". Oh well, great effort Bradley.

And won't it be nice to see someone with an actual personality win the award. Whether you like his personality or not is irrelevant, at least he isn't just another robotic clown drowning in cliches.
he made it look easy today, i like the bloke he,s just not good with the press and has no interest in being a celeb. froome sitting on his throne changing his trainers before the race had finished was a belter
I thought it was funny how he won in so much style and was hardly out of breath at the end, when Zee German was absolutely fucked and he didn't even come close.

Wiggins ability and technique is awesome, he averaged 52km/h iirc over the course. I was saying to my significant other its amazing how his legs are working like they are but he makes it look so easy at the sametime and the rest of his body seems to stay so still. As good as Tony Martin and Froome are Wiggins this year is just different class. I'll be interested to see what his next move will be particularly after his " this is as good as it gets " comment, would love to see him carry on to Rio but he appears a huge family man and I wonder how much longer he will continue having achieved his lifetime ambition.
Quote: 1985casual wrote in post #2Been watching it this afternoon, quietly becoming the greatest ever British olympian.
sorry, can't see past Sir Steve still. No disrespect to anyone else but to produce over 5 olympic games/16-20 year period is simply astonishing, in a sport where physically you'll be found out very easily. Similarly, try back to back Decathlon wins. Another phenomenal feat from Daley. What is it - 10 different events? unreal.
as for Wiggo, top man. Absolute top man. Certainly in the frame for Britains greatest ever sporting achievement - Tour + Gold. Phenomenal.
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
I think Bradley Wiggins is a top man respectful to his fellow athletes,at the top of his field & very modest.PL footballers could learn a lot from him.Easily our best ever sportsman, proud to be BRITISH
Dont get the hype tbh, Yeah a great sportsman and excellent achievement but please stop fucking printing cut out sideburns in the morning papers. Joking aside well done, It was always going to be his goal and so soon after the TDF. take a bow.
I dont get the ultimate athelete patter either hes just a man on a bike but really good at it and I do understand how hard the tour de france is to win
To me the ultimate athlete would be at the top of his game in more than one sport not just cycling
Great man and excellent athlete! LOve his comments on so called celebs in this country. The man is just a normal man, he doesn't like media attention and tells it how it is, very refreshing! Plus he collects Adi, dresses smart as fuck and loves his scooters... Finally a personality to relate to.
