Quote: maclufc wrote in post #1Yes thats right, me at 49, one last Friday, and one on Sunday afternoon. I ve since had an operation to put a Stent in my heart valve, because one was only working at 10%(blocked due to high cholesteral). I would nt mind, but I thought I had a relatively good diet, beer aside. If you ever have chest pains, jaw ache and nausea, get straight down A&E, luckily I went the second time, after checking my symptoms on the NHS direct website, and coming to the end and the advice was DIAL 999 AND ASK FOR AN AMBULANCE
Bet you never had that on your 'things to do before your 50' list.

Anyway at least its been fixed and they can keep an eye on you from now on..Youll end up like me going for a yearly MOT and its no bad thing and makes you feel better when they say same time next year to you..all the best bud
Chaps, eat a handful of nuts a day or a few times a week, couple portions of oily fish (tinned tuna counts) a week, olive oil and lots of fruit and veg to get the cholesterol down. Mines low, even though I'm rounder than I should be. Glad you're making a recovery chief, it'd shit me up
