had a few day trips to Tokyo when I was in South korea last year .. not an inch of space to move in , frenetic pace people move in , the subway is crazy , people squished into the carriages , never got to see many good shops , but time I spent there was very memorable .. Love to explore the Japanese countryside , mystical place ..

I've done it, including the log cabins in the alps and the subtropical cedar forests on Yakushima island. You get stared at a lot more out in the wilds!
One thing about Japan though, when I've been in the summer, they don't let you try any of the clothes on. 200 quid for a t-shirt you can't try on. No thanks.
I had the privilege to visit Japan (Yokosuka/Tokyo Bay) while in the service. My visit was brief but it was one of the most enjoyable and heartwarming places I have been.
Would love to return to visit the country and train there as well.

Sounds like he's grooming you, whilst plying you with alcohol.

Good point- I always wondered why I always woke up with my underwear on back-to-front
