I wish him all the best and just hope we don't see him again like we did with Pacquiao, that was a dreadful KO for him. At least Paulie only slaps like a lass!

Can't see him shifting this fat c@nt.
Malignaggi is a skilful boxer, neat and tidy but no power at all at the top level.
Hatton is a likeable fella, at least he is when he isn't talking in the third person, but that photo of him in his 'fat suit' is very telling. Yes he is able to laugh at himself but the fact he let himself get in such a state between fights meant he didn't achieve his full potential and so it wasn't very funny at all really. You don't see other elite fighters looking like he used to. Shame really.
Confirmed then, November 24th fight in Manchester with an as yet unknown opponent. Really hope it goes well for him but I am a little concerned about his punch resistance. I'd love him to give Khan a pasting though
Hatton and Khan suit each other , fall flat on their faces when they fight boxers with a bit of class , they need each other , Boxing has never been all about the money as much as it is now.
Bad move by Hatton i think,he has nothing left to prove one of the most exciting fighters ever to come out of the UK.Won the world title i worry he could get very hurt after such a long lay off from boxing.

agree with this, i know he feels he has something to prove but really hope it doesnt go pear shaped and he ends up looking sad and a pathetic.
he's a big boy , think he knows what he's doing , as for money , worth an estimated 26 million , since retiring suffered with depression / drugs / alcohol , boxers like most sportsmen never want to retire .. Hope he fights Khan and leathers the cunt ..
Looks like the Hattons are getting in some early sparring
FORMER boxing champ Ricky Hatton’s dad was arrested for attacking his SON following a bust-up in a gym car park. Hatton, 33, had to protect himself after dad Ray, 61, attacked him during a heated row. Hatton Snr went for the boxer — nicknamed The Hitman — after confronting him. It is believed they argued about Ricky’s decision to fight again and issues over his previous lifestyle. Shocked bystanders looked on outside Ricky’s gym in Hyde, Greater Manchester, on Thursday morning. A witness said: “Ricky and his dad haven’t really talked for two years. Ray isn’t happy about Ricky’s lifestyle. Ray had gone to confront his son. There was a dispute in the car park seen by quite a few people. Ray took a swipe at him.” Cops were called and arrested Hatton Snr, 61, on suspicion of assault. He was taken to a police station and cautioned then released. Last night a pal of Ricky said he wanted to press charges. Ray, who lives with Ricky’s mum Carol in Hyde, refused to comment. Ricky’s agent did not respond to requests for comment. Yesterday Hatton announced he was coming out of retirement, saying: “I want British boxing to be proud of me again.” Earlier this week Ray said: “Me and my wife have our feelings about it.”
