he was too polite. Hope he 'retires' too once he gets his 100 caps

To be fair, Cole is spot on in this instance.
he is mate. Regardless of personalties, how someone can't see the problem of calling up a player you've basically just called a liar in a high profile situation is beyond me. what made me laugh was reading that in the report, the FA stated they are happy that John Terry isn't a racist - like he should give a fuck what this kangaroo court based on the 'laws of probability' says Wish lamps would retire too and cahill for that matter. they can keep Sturridge

It's true. I'm beginning to lose interest in football more and more these days. Wish it was like how it used to be back in the ol' days. The game is a complete joke and I feel sorry for the kids that have to watch this shit week in week out. Going to stop there as I feel a rant coming on...
I heard Pat Nevin on the radio saying that 98% of those up in front of the FA's disciplinary committee are found guilty. So I do have sympathy for Cole, especially after the court case. However, footballers should be banned from tweeting for their own good. Many of them don't seem to grasp that the phone or iPad or whatever immediately takes those private thoughts and puts them in the public domain. Maybe it is because footballers are surrounded by sycophants who never criticise anything they say.

yeah, 493 from 495 cases last year - the player involved was found guilty. and whilst the FA have this fantasy that it was 'independent panel'....they appointed it. A bit like wondering how Mafia men kept getting not guiltys when gotti was 'picking' the jury Hence, if JT had done his homework, he'd should have retired as soon as the FA said they were doing him. In Coles case it was a nonsense. Imagine people representing your employer going to a major tribunal case with you as witness, accusing you of being a liar and untrustworthy....and then the employer picking you as one of their best employees the following week. You'd be a bit miffed yourself ffs
I agree though. Too many of them would be better off not publishing their thoughts a bit like giving me pc access when I'm pissed ffs It's all up when Joey Barton is considered the 'thinking mans footballer' . Joking aside, clubs should have a communication policy that covers it as part of their contract - like a code of ethics idea. In our case, the ethics should be quite clear on shagging team mates girlfriends.....
