Went last week and had one of the best nights out I've had in a long time and going again tomorrow. The new Venue is probably the best venue I've ever been to.
Would have gone to see Harveys return to the uk in Manchester, but think has sold out, I , wouldn't usually bother with nights of this magnitude. Might still go over but think it might not be as I expect it to be. They do put on decent line up mind just venue is too big for my liking

It's down at Trafford Wharf Road near the Imperial War Museum.
Bit out of town that, I'm used to walking everywhere! Still, I'm keen to have a look.

More large crowds and shit sound systems coupled with big rooms equals shite in my experience Bit of a trainspotter me with nights out. Smaller is best
Used to love catching the train up to go to WHP when it was under Piccadilly station and then get the first train back in the morning... Was quality for the first year but last time I went it had gone shit with loads of knob heads in attendance.
I am heading there is December for the Crosstown Rebels night.
I have been a few times before when it was under Piccadily train station.
I have heard good thing about the new venue. But my only concern is how far out of town it is. We have apartments booked in the Northern Quarter, fair hike to get back there. What's the scoop? Is there plenty taxis, or buses late on?

Might be making that one myself.
There's loads of taxis outside but most are ones that people have booked beforehand. There are a few who haven't been pre-booked but they'll try to mug you off with the fare as some people will pay over the odds. Your best bet is to get a bus back into town (think one runs direct to Piccadilly Gardens) which is about £3 but you can usually get on without paying. There's usually a bit of a wait for those though so it depends on whether you can be arsed to wait/if you don't mind forking out for a cab. Make sure you don't get on the shuttle bus to the after party too.

If its where I think it is (just by Old Trafford) then walk up to Chester Rd (5 mins) where you'll easily flag a black cab.
Been twice so far and got there around 20 past. As long as you're in the queue by half past then you'll definitely get in. Not sure what would happen if you rocked up later but I can't see there being too much of an issue.
