I'm updating the site at the moment and have been steadily burning my retina's out whilst doing this overhaul.
I've added some new background info on my approach and influences etc and a load of archive stuff as well as introducing some of my latest image based work, which i'm on with at present.
As usual this is a very much a work in progress and there will be more added over the next few days.
If you a have a few minutes to spare and can have a look over this just to check the images etc are loading correctly i'd very much appreciate it.
Obviously if you see anything on there that you would like to purchase as the new stuff emerges just drop me a line via the site, ill happily look after anyone on the offhand site discount wise.
I may be a heathen when it comes to art, but I just dont get this, nor do I understand who its aimed at. Does anyone buy this sort of thing? I m sure you re passionate about this GSS, but its right over my head. What happened to the jacket/coat you were designing?

Don't worry about it Mac...... you don't have to understand it. Sometimes these things are just aesthetically pleasing. Nothing more, nothing less. Those endless arguments about whether a pile of bricks is indeed art when in a gallery situation or just a pile of bricks used to drive me insane when my art tutors used to try and get me involved in those arguments many moons ago. I didn't care then, i don't care much now..... i just like producing stuff and keeping myself interested.... If its well received then i'm even happier.
I have sold a few these new pieces... Which i'm pleased about - the response have been really positive so far. I suppose these latest works are just a continuation of what i've always done. i've always been involved with design from the age of 18 and for the last ten year always produced artwork and silkscreen prints for sale under my own name after setting up my own silkscreen facility.
I did make quite a bit of progress with some prototyping on the jacket & sweatshirt front a couple of years ago, but sadly the people who i was involved with ending taking a slight career change which made the project difficult to finish up. i'd been experimenting with metal cast buttons and translucent grain hand printed fabrics which i should still have samples of. Some of this was on the old site in the blog area about a year ago. its a shame i couldn't get this completed as it looked like it could have turned out quite nicely. i may well pick up on it if i find a suitable set-up to work with. But for the time being i'm going to persue the prints and artwork as i've built up quite a bit of momentum with this now....
Bit of a technical issue for me- I'm looking at the site in Chrome / Win XP - when I look at one of the items, I can only view the first image, clicking on the other thumbnails doesn't change the main view.
I like what I can see so far, especially the Oxidised Dilation work and the Neg.
i like the work i tend to buy bits of art now and again at festivals and off students who have just graduated but go for more hand sketches. love the use of the eye reminds me of Blade Runner
thanks for the feedack chaps. I've got someone onto the image loading issue with google chrome at the moment. its started doing the same on my machine using firefox this morning as well. i'm sure its something simple to sort out.
i'm going to try and get some photographs of these pieces in a room setting as well and also get some production shots up on the site as well.
if anyone has any suggestions of blogs that they think would be suitable to try and get some of these new pieces featured on, please let me know. any help is very much appreciated. As well all know its all about traffic these day carving a large portion of your living out via the internet.
I've just had some of my other print releases featured up on the testpressing.org website - they've been pretty good to me so far. they featured the mdma halftone prints i did a little while ago and also some of the multi layer dub based stuff that i do. link >>> dub stories on testpressinglink >>> a.l.s.d. silskcreen on testpressing
