Was rather boring up until the point he jamp. Everyone was going mental when he started spinning
was on a BA flight , when I was going to work , he used to do basejumping - off all major buildings in the World , then leg it before he got arrested .. guy is crazy ..
I read somewhere beforehand that if he got into a spin of more than 180 RPM, his brain would be turned to mush. So when he started spinning, it was a proper 'oh fuck' kind of moment.
Its great that people are still doing this sort of thing. Caught a lot of people's imagination, that's for sure.
I thought that the old guy on the ground was really amateurish for the situation kept making mistakes after mistakes important ones aswell, also sure that the commentator said that the last guy that done it his parachute cord got wrapped round his neck and he passed out on the decent but they have a reserve parachute that opens up automatically at 12,000 feet loonatics them people. One of them base jumpers wacked into a bridge a bit back didnt he and died its on live leak somewhere crazy.
The main chute and reserve chute are on altitude actuators, in case of the parachutist loses consciousnesses during free fall or becomes tangled in the lines.
The feat of jumping 24 miles above Earth is amazing. The amount of punishment the body and mind goes through is unbelievable, speaking about HALO jumps alone. This jump is on another level.
