there is a 5, 3, 1 training programme written by jim wendler thats realy good for strength gains. Worth a read if you are interested.
I did it last year I probably stayed on it a little too long realy should only do it for a while then move to another lighter programme.
also another way to check your sessions are evenly split is to work out how many tonnes of weight you lift in a session. A guideline for me used to be around 10 tonnes.
