Right, I deleted everything off my laptop the other day as it was running slow as fuck and now there's compleyely nothing on it and back to begging again, obviously. But, I cant get the internet to work as it says I need some adapter things? Anyone have a clue how to get these to work?

You might have deleted your network adaptor - go into your device manager and see if there is anything installed under network adaptors.

Nothing comes up, is there any way of getting it back or am I humped?

Sounds like you might be missing some drivers.
get another computer that works online and Google make and model of laptop.
Start by downloading relevant ones then install them.

Go to Backup and Restore, there should be some automatically saved backups, roll back your PC/Laptop to an older version before it broke. Then make sure you update everything, see if that works...

Sounds like you have put the computer back to factory settings so you need to install the drivers for the LAN/wireless then you will see it under your network adapters .do you have a cd that came with the computer when you got it saying something like drivers/utilities if so run the cd otherwise you need to access the net from another device go online found your make/model and their official site then download network drivers put onto USB stick and then into your computer and install.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

if you dont care about the stuff you have lost the best thing to do is roll back to factory setting which is a part of your hard drive that the manufacturer partitions off incase of virus damage and also people who delete things by accident ha ha which takes you back to the begining of your machine when you first bought it. Its a pain because you will have to spend about an hour updating your drivers and operating system.
