Just watching this after saving it the other night - Only halfway in but what an amazing insight and superb direction... Nice to see "the real Wiggo" with his Mrs and kids (Mrs is well down to earth) Looks like he'd already made a few bob judging by the house and BMW's he's got even before winning the Tour...suppose that's the Sky bit ? Got a glimpse of a few scooters in his garage too. Touched a bit of a nerve when he was talking about his late dad though (murdered) who'd abandoned him as a kid bringing back a few moments from my past and how he wasn't bothered about his funeral etc. Looking forward to the rest... red wine emotion kicking in now... bit of a hero of mine I won't mention the abundance of Fred Perry
Really good documentary I thought, thoroughly enjoyed it, thought he was quite frank and to the point at times which was good to see. Best bit is towards the end when he's talking and theres a great pile of those Lion/Teddy things he got for everytime he wore yellow, superb that. IMO Sports personality of the Year
that mountain climb done in 31 mins by wiggo that a typically fit person could do in 47 mins just showed the fitness and stamina needed to win at the very top level.
Good read that. I still don't care much for david Millar though. Interesting to see that michael rogers has left sky through the back door. I'll laugh my balls off, if people over here question contadors team next year.
