I thought it was interesting reading up on all the drama that it caused. There is no denying that it has rubbed people the wrong way.

thats the thing tho matt what one man finds funny another man wont people should think about this before they start being clever cunts... treat people on the interenet the way you would in real life and theres never gona be a problem
No Derek you wont be banned I will give you the benefit of the doubt and hope you just quoted Neils comment instead him telling you as we have been talking all afternoon. You seem sound and know your music and I do too so there is a saving grace but this board will rid itself of all the bollocks funboys who think they are something in our company and we will go back to how we were, everybody was given a chance and due to the bogus account account it transpired after some ground work that established members were clearly on here to feedback info and take the piss, that is why there are so many locked off sections just for those that we trust and do actually get to buy the brands we have worked to secure

Exactly! Rule of thumb....if you wouldn't say it to someone's face in the boozer .... Dont say it over the Internet

Certain people joined and were nt happy with the diversity on here, thinking we should be all about the "new" rather than the "old". We have a good mix of lads on here, with differing opinions, but we manage to keep things polite and respectful(most of the time). There are certain people out there, that for whatever reasons seem jealous of this, and try to destroy any attempts by Ja to start a business, slagging him off every chance they get, and being VERY personal. As I ve said, when insulting ANYONE in any way, you should be willing to accept the consequences, ESPECIALLY on the internet. We all say things to people we regret, but once we splurt them out its too late. Online, you have the chance to not hit the send/post button, so imo, the comments are thought about more, and there is no excuse. The internet IS real life, if you insult someone on here they" may take it seriously, and not everyone will just shrug their shoulders and say "Its only the internet."
Personally, I don't advocate personal digs being exchanged over the internet, but to smash someone's windows over it (if that is indeed the case - I don't know if it is, only heard it from this thread) is out of order imho. If you feel aggrieved by someone (whether through the internet or in the pub), sort it out face to face, not by a brick through the window. As I stated above, utterly cowardly.
I am also completely and totally all for a "grown up forum, friendly, and a place to talk bollocks about clothes". However, especailly in recent times, this does not seem to be the case. Not long ago, I was banned for stating that I believed the store Kafka had changed it's image and target market over recent years (which it undoubtedy has). This was by no means a dig at anyone - yet I was banned for expressing my own (and fairly uncontroversial) opinion. Then on Saturday, as stated above, I recieved an email accusing me of being involved in this Twitter shite. Fair play trying to get to the bottom of it - but clearly there has been a fair bit of jumping to conclusions as I have/had absolutely zero involvement in that kiddy shit. Dissapointing as I have met some top gents on here and otherwise have found it to be a decent forum.

To be fair I will agree with that one. Espeically the Kafka on Rosemount, not saying its a bad thing, or a good thing, its indifferent. Prada has been replaced with Woolrich, ect. I remember for a short period it stocked 80s Casuals.
I seen said email and thought it could have been worded better.
Dont post alot but know a few people on here from other forums Ive been part of, (casualco, found, ect) And ive had the pleasure of meeting a number of gents on here in person, hell, Ive even stayed at a few of the gents flat after an ale trail.
Alex de you have been given a second chance we explained why we banned you as Dave is a loyal friend which you did not know and again you assuming and questioning how we run this places, due to the nature of the whole fiasco its now pissing esteemed members off so please take your second chance and just take it on the chin how we investigate things cause its no different whatever the scenario
Forum was created by me and Ja for lads to come on and discuss brands etc The thing I don't get is certain members jumped on the back of a twitter feed taking The piss out of Ja and offhand, these members joined in and found it funny. Why be a member on here if you want to do that? If people don't want to be on the forum for the right reasons then go As for being accused of smashing windows ffs that's playground crap! Certain people out there just want to cause crap for this place and yes it the net and sorry to say It is real.
Live life to the full and enjoy, try and help people who havn't got as much as you, you never know what tomorrow will bring!!!!

Agreed!
^This.
I have said my bit - understandably aggrieved to be associated with this and to have received said email. But hopefully it gets settled and we can go back to what the forum should be about...
