Graduating with a 2:1 in November. Brighton first week of January was the best weekend. Getting my first full-time job in July. Hope 2013 sees me in a more interesting job.
Contesting 2 Parking Tickets using the Bill of Rights 1668/9 section 12 and getting them canceled. A visit from the TV Licence Inspector & telling him I wasn't interested in his services. (He went away with the tail between his legs)..
Sport wise, the Olympics, Man City winning the title with what was more or less the last kick of the season. Wiggins winning The Tour and how about the Ryder Cup, golf became interesting overnight!
The birth of our second child, promotion at work, a few good away days with my mates at the football and seeing the Stone Roses again for the first time since 1995, despite my fears it was a cracking day!
Jees where do I start, been a constant year of highs and lows, getting to know the inside of this industry, been accepted as a business with Offhand, countless moments with friends who keep me laughing you know who you are, conquering the ever growing hatred againest me for some reason I dont know of. Working and networking with big hitters among the clothing world and moving into my dream house. Had fair share of problems as always seem to be but oversoming them is my greatest highlight.
Every picture i see of your little lad Wadey , brings a smile to my face , hes a cracking young man who im sure has you beamig with pride . All the best Ian
My highlight , seeing my little lad , in his first race, winning the 100m and then 400m , out of 10 schools in our area . And then someone ive never met before asking me to take him to Leeds City Athletic club .
The birth of our first son Toby. A complete gamechanger and easily the best thing to happen on any year. 10 months on and loving every day. Claremont 56 Weekend Forest Rave-Half the disco/balearic industry friends and family letting their hair down at a private party in a forest in Nottinghamshire. Live bands and sets by peeps like Idjut Boy's, Psychemagik, Sean P (monstrous Girl slaying peaktime boogie set), Balearic Mike, Moonboots the list goes on. Hugeness Harvey@Oval Space. More than delivered. Saw loads of peeps not seen for a while. Work. Took work a lot more serious this year as I've been partying a hell of a lot less. Subsequently good things are a foot...should be made a director in next 1-2 years. Olympics-Proved an old cynic like me well wrong
Eye's right, skin back tight, bollocks to the front, we're the boy's who make more noise when we're on the cunt, we're the riders of the night, and we'd rather fuck than fight, we're the riders of the Clock end Highbury
A couple of nice breaks with the Mrs and some superb nights out with the troops including 3 x 40th birthdays. And watching my little nephew develop into the kind of boy I'd have been proud to call my own.
downsides? growing number of funerals I seem to be attending....

Seeing Alfie grow up has been wonderful ( turned 2 in Nov ), so many happy memories and pics. One of my highlights was seeing him get up after tripping in the garden and falling in the bark, seeing his face with bits of bark on and his beaming smile still makes me chuckle typing this! Mrs loves pic so much had it made into an Iphone cover for Xmas. Said pic
Sport wise, too many to list, West Ham's play-off final win was amazing ( ly lucky too ), had a great day out at Wembley. Ace way to go up when you win. Wiggo's TDF, Olympics was great. Ryder Cup comeback will live long in the memory.

Watching Aguero win Manchester City the title with last kick of the game. Watching City at the Bernabau and Amsterdam Arena was special. Never did I think City would play any of them ever. Getting my first full time job and the contract being extended which hopefully will carry on for a long while
Roll on 2013.
Oh Man City, the only football team to come from Manchester
