Gents as some may know I have been creating a sub forum which is going to bring members massive discounts and exclusive gear, also working with stores exploring new ideas in selling whereby they will offer possibly monthly garments or products for a one off special promotion price, (at their discretion). We have secured loads of labels which will be added continuously, stock will be rotated and I will be sourcing labels which are not stocked elsewhere, Our aim is to bring you good clobber and savings, building a relationship with shops involved and creating a buzz again in this overcrowded industry. There is also Nutritional products and women's accessories (expensive handbags) I have just updated the stock with Belstaff Panthers which will be arriving later this week. Thank you to all those that have joined and paid the subscription, You dont have to join, there is a preview page which is viewable before you decide and hope you will support us in this venture and allow it to grow just like Offhand. I will continue to return your gratitude and support by growing ahoy faerie into the best bespoke savings communty driven site online.
We have as you know secured the likes of future putchases from oak st, Fracap, stone Island, Cp, TenC , nemen and the list will grow. Lots of shops getting involved, will turn into a decent site over the next few months
Quote: clyde wrote in post #6Ja exactly what items are available to purchase on the site ???...at what price ???/.....full range of sizes ??....which brands are available ???
Constructive criticism here.... the idea behind this venture seems to be to stand out in a field where all others are rapidly disappearing up their own arse.. but this is doing exactly that, in spectacular fashion. As well as the pretentious language - "Part creator, visionary" (plus actor?), I counted 5 slogans on the home page...
"We are the people you never see"
"Passion always prevails"
"Visionary creative collective"
"Only for those that know the brand identity"
"You earn the right to wear our garments"
What do they actually mean? The last one is especially wince-inducing; surely it should be "You earn the money to buy our garments".
There are some good pictures in the gallery section; how many are actually exclusive content though?
The list of brands and the positioning of the venture really need looking at, hard - when have Lyle and Scott ever made anything 'high end'? It's market-town theme bar wear. The Nemen deal lends a great deal of credibility to the venture, but the rest of it drags it all down.
The appearance of the site - pretty sure this must be a work in progress. The ever-present purple banner looks like something from a Final Fantasy game circa 1997.
Like I said, this is meant as constructive criticism - some straightforward information about the site, and a basic, aesthetically pleasing look are fundamentals. The Nemen deal is a good starting point from where to build, and I wish you good luck.

And i fully take onboard your critism my man, but think you are mixing up the two sites, Ahoy faerie is an outlet for allkinds of labels from low to very high end and will build over time, you should have seen Offhand when we started, have a little faith, I am forever working hard to succeed where many said i would fail and its hard as a one man band to get round to everything but what may not be of liking to you is another mans gold, and plenty have ordered large quantities of low end Lyle and Paul Smith for their stock. Now all the slogans you counted are my little bit of fun and the stats on the site prove its a success but ConceptOh is just a blog for me to relay the latest goings on with everything related with Offhand and what I do and its working. Dont read to much into slogans, stick around and you will see hows it will make sense, there is no prententous goings on, Part of marketing and believe it or not since the Aber Dash project the brand ethos is bang on, people do not know the branding unless they are aware of the clothing. When it all falls into place you will be the first to probably congratulate me on achieving it and at the end of the day I am not aiming Ahoy at Offhanders but more the general public and traders who want a piece of the elusive pie which some protect with their life. Have faith my man and thank you appreciate everything you say, you dont like it then Im sure there is no reason to subscribe or even visit.
After the fracas and shenanigans I have had I deserve a bit of fun and it does actually help the site, the followers prove that, many italians, not everybodies cuppa but hey, I will pull it off, give me time and then come back after you are buying the likes of Oak st, TenC, and more for far less than what anybody can sell at. Never judge a book by its cover,
It can be seen in its infant stage at the moment but as some of us know how much hard work that you have been putting into projects recently I got to say Hats off to you Ja. We need to have some patience and we will see the site blossom. From Acorns Oak Trees are grown.
