Was thinking about this yesterday, apart from Fergie i named about 5 managers who've had success both in scotland and in england in the leagues......They've all had the scotland managers job, Burley, McLeish, Walter Smith, Levein and now Stratchen......Its one of those jobs that theres never a shortage of candidates......But why would you want it ? apart from pride ?

Strachen should have got the job years ago best man for the position especially tournament football he knows how to get results

A decent manager would have got Scotland into the Euros.That Levein should have been sacked on the spot with his 4-6-0 formation in Prague.Watched Scotland at 2 World Cups............before the Tartan Tranny's took over.Looks like it'll be a while before young uns see their country in with the big boys.
