After telling my kids to be careful with the I pad , dropped it and smashed the screen, does anyone know if they can be replaced and who can do it ,apple will replace it with a recon for £299 which is a bit steep . Thanks

For that price I'd get a new Tablet!

Mate of mine replaced his himself (iPad 2) got a digitizer/screen of eBay don't think it cost much and came with the glue and little lever bars etc etc to change think it only took him 20 mins aswel but would have to check that theirs step by step guides etc on YouTube aswell, if their any think like a iPhone it's p**s easy I changed mine myself
