I'd say at that age with no kids its gotta be a 3 door !!
1.6 Golf TDI, 3 door, high spec with big wheels they look top, i learnt in one and would LOVE one !! Maybe a GTI if you want something sporty and dont have to do shed loads of miles per day !!
A3 1.6 TDI too !!
Mercedes C Class coupe ??
See shit loads of golfs up and down the m6, all mostly 2 litre TDI's, bluemotions too but you'll only reap the benefits on them if you do 500 miles per week !!

Too right !!
I drive a 1 litre petrol Polo at present, you need to put some gas through it for it to even move, in the Golf (2.0 litre diesel) i learnt in, you only had to half lift the clutch and you were going 15mph It was a pleasure to drive !!
6k a year, only 120 miles a week, even with a shit MPG thats only £30 a week on petrol....If the insurance is Ok I'd get something like a VW scirrocco or a mercedes C class coupe....or a 3 series coupe !!
Now if you suddenly put an RS4 in latest buys fingers will point S !!
I'd add my vote to a Golf or Audi Alex , trouble is there's so much choice but its got to be a buyers market at present. The last couple of cars we've had we have bought mid Feb and end August before the new reg comes out , end of sales quarter etc . Got a good deal on our Audi last time.

You'd be surprised how big the Golf is once your sitting inside mate, bit like Dr Who's tardis. She's banging on about 'moving up' possibly an A5, but i keep breaking out in a cold sweat, thinking..............."how many jackets we talking here?!?!?!?!
