When I was in Lisbon it was simple enough to pick up tickets, just went to the ground and there was a box office selling tickets on the day, was simple enough and dirt cheap!
Went to the Prague derby while on my stag do, tickets were easy to get and pretty cheap Tickets for Dortmund (if you can get them) should be cheap I'd have thought as I'm sure I read their season tickets are only about 100 €
Tickets are pretty much easy to get, particularly in the away end as they don't tend to travel to well. Just don't choose a British team as there will only be a handful available, triple the price and you'll get treated like an animal by the police. I'm not bitter.
On a plus side, it's good to travel and see teams in Europe as they are largely untouched by the mass influx of money and corporate fans. You always get a great atmosphere which largely involves the home fans. Unlike a lot of British games now, where the away fans do most of the singing.
You will pick up tickets for Dortmund easy the cheapest are in the standing section behind the goals also where the best atmosphere is as their ultras are based their, you will be looking at around 8-10 euro but that includes transport to and from the stadium
Will actually go to Bremen next weekend. Werder against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday. Never been to Bremen before, but as for football, most European countries should look to Germany. The way clubs are run, atmosphere at games, ticket prices, travelling (public transportation at reduced prices on matchdays if you have a ticket for a game), beer available at stadiums (fucking good beer too) and of course this
I can recommend games in Sweden, especially the derbies like AIK - Djurgården, Helsingborg - Malmø or Göteborg - AIK. I've been to the smaller Stockholm derby AIK - Hammarby and it was an extreme experience. Never seen so much crowd trouble and liveliness in the streets leading up the game. Very intense.
The category of the prosumer commodity does not signify a democratization of the media towards participatory systems, but the total commodification of human creativity
been to see a few games in Italy and Holland, the tickets usually are usually half of what we pay and your not treated like a criminal and the food and drink are quite decent.
Dirty old river, must you keep rolling, Flowing into the night.......
I have been to Italy (bologna FC - Reggina and Hellas Verona - Venezia (third division)). Both were great and you can buy easily tickets with your ID/pasport. Also been a couple of times in Germany and Belgium and it's also really easy to get tickets over there, only the big clubs might be sold out.. Over here in the Dutch it's more difficult, at most clubs you need a Clubcard or seasonticketholder to buy tickets, so you probably need to ask someone to buy tickets for you.. At least that's how i do it when i go to watch other teams!
