Got a phone call off the missus saying that a kid at school has accused me of grabbing him in the playground. Bit of back ground on this is that this so called kid has been bullying my son for about 6 months and about 3 months ago i dropped him off at school and about 2 minutes later my son came running out crying and upset. I was very pissed off and angry and ran up to the main bullies and waved my finger at them giving them a right telling off making sure i had witnesess seeing me do it ( i know what these kids are like these days) they did look a bit scared but so fucking what, i was livid. ~So anyway this kid has decided to say i grabbed him 3 months down the line and managed to get another kid to go along with his story. His step dad has gone down the school furious saying he is getting the police and all that shit blah blah blah . His real dad is a right charmer. banged up for wrapping a crow bar round a cab drivers head and allegedly knocking his own son about (cant wait to meet that cunt). Yes the whole thing is a shit storm but i have to say i have seen it all before growing up. I got a letter from the Head of the school this morning saying he has notified the police and it turns out they are more interested in the level of bullying and intimidation towards my family..wow that was a shock. At the end of the day though i do feel sorry for this kid who has had a hard family life and sees my son who is a happy and wishes he had the same.
oh can i just say i did not lay a finger on the kid in question

Sorry to hear that, both about your son being bullied and your current dilemma. Given the Head's response it sounds like the kid might have previous for this sort of thing, or may well have already confessed to a teacher. Wait for the police to get in touch and take it from there. As you said this lad probably has some deeper issues, that doesn't excuse his actions, but it'll hopefully give some perspective. if it goes any further get a brief and get your witness statements together ASAP.
Agree above at least the school seems to have the situation sussed but as sauzee says if it gets messy get a brief quick, had to deal with some bullying/intimidation issues at work (different nationality/cultural) never easy to sort.
Be careful what you dream of it may come up and surprise you.
