Jon lived just down the road from where i work, what a great band, spent all night so far listening to their stuff, one band i'll always play when i load up spotify regardless of my mood. Managed to see them last year finally and they were brilliant.
Some of the tributes are very moving, got me a little whilst at work earlier.

my cousin was at that gig Andy, he says it was mega!
R.I.P No age!
They were brilliant live even at that early stage Ross. Not that many from Crewe were there but a couple of coaches from Manc and Northwich bolstered the numbers. After the gig they mingled around and Steve Harrison was selling their demo tape from a table. I got all of them to sign it. Still got it.

Even got Rob on it, brilliant bit of history that.
A neighbour showed me a photo of them about a mile down the road from where i live opposite a pub they used to drink in when in Walsall (Rob lived in the street opposite the pub)...anyway it was in a book about the band, want to get the picture on a poster size eventually when i find out what book it was in....If anyone owns any, the photo has a road sign above their heads saying "Broadstone Avenue" any help finding the photo would be greatly appreciated !!
