Anybody going next Friday? Looks like I'm going to miss out. Gutted as I missed the last Prague visit to. Although its a bit of a Micky Mouse cup, it will be interesting to see Jose and Guardiaola(?) face off to each other.

Move along, nothing to see!
uh oh....chelsea troll alert To be fair I remember when the baggies were in the Super cup......actually, strike that. It was the Rumbelows Cup I was thinking off....
Not going this time mate. The route to Prague was silly money and I've been Prague twice. Can see it being a decent game though. As you say, would have been a good away that one. Used to fly to Prague direct from Belfast for about £60-70 quid. Flights alone were £200 everywhere I looked and that was flying from Dublin so .....

Flights were looking to much for me too. Looking at flying from Malaga, which means looking at 10+ hours for some journey times. I think I'll wait for the draw next week and pick out a good one. Hopefully a Spanish side.

Until they won it!
Bollocks, meant Europa
I forgave you mate. Wouldn't expect you to grasp the European football terminology. Given you're never in it, it must seem totally alien
Only English club to have won the clean sweep of European Trophies

Point of order Mr Ramsees, we actually ventured into Europe in In 1978–79 season and reached the UEFA Cup quarter-finals.
We actually finished third that year in the old First division and a little known London club, whose name escapes me now, finished 22nd of 22.

Enjoy.

Thanks but really no need for the history lesson Mr GTBI. We're all well aware of the our journey..from almost relegation to div 3 to the pinnacle which ended on one balmy night in Munich
in fairness, we were always destined for the top table. That's why we've the kings Road, West London and a Russian billionaire and the smaller clubs have.....well....whatever it is you have

Quote: OFFHand wrote in post #6Jees steep that journey time my man. How long from just Malaga? I too would wait personally Although a great reason to visit Prague.
The logistics are a bit of a nightmare from Gibraltar. The main hubs are Barca and Madrid which always means at least one stop. Most of the now more attractive destinations in Eastern Europe, Scandinavia are a bit of a nightmare to get to. Peace of piss for my lot though who all live in and around Luton. I put the effort in for the Munich run but getting a bit fed up with traveling on my own, then having to trawl and unknown city for your drunken mates, who have usually lost their phones etc by then
However fingers crossed for a nice Spanish or Portugal visit, particularly while the sun still shines.
