I tried the lot - chocolate, ham, cheese - but muesli worked every time. That moment when you catch one in the corner of your eye running across the floor - fucking hate them!
We had them , and the lad from rentokil told me to smear the trap with nutella or peanut butter but dont set the trap at first , let them get used to it and taking food off it then after a couple of days set the trap . i caught 7 in my house !!!!
We only found out we had them when the wife got up one morning and saw one sat in the bowl of nuts we leave out at xmas time .
I had them in my garage for years and did not bother with them. The local cat kept the numbers down but recently i saw one dash across my kitchen floor and then a few nights later behind my sofa bowling around like he owned the place. Baited the garage, living room and kitchen and i have not seen them since.
tbh Tim doesn't really bother me , but the wife is petrified , I've bought a toy mouse from petshop , gonna wait till she's asleep on settee and put it on her chest ..
