after 25 years of cider swilling just recently stopped due to constanly been bloated and not wanting to over pickle my interior ......fortunaley for me I have 4/5 real ale pubs close by so swapped over the last couple of weeks....whats your favourite tiple??? and any others on here thinking about weaning themselves off the cidre!!
I like to drink bitter by Adnams , Ghost Ship or normal Adnams , we live not that far from Southwold and went to the brewery , good larf there .. but stinks ..
Did a month off the booze in Oct for Macmillan, used to drink nothing but Magners and Bulmers, now won't drink anything but Stella, which I haven't drunk regularly for about 10 years!! My old man used to take me to real ale pubs and the only thing I ever enjoyed was blond beers
I must admit i have never tried a real ale...I'm 20...
Cider though, on the other hand, I'll drink Henry Westons Reserve (8.2%) before going out or if i go for a curry for example and I'm about 4/5 off trying all the ciders on offer at the post office vaults in Birmingham. Love it.
Lager i haven't touched since getting in a state in June, i have fads though I'll probably be drinking it on new years eve, however i got pulled a pint of peroni when i asked for an aspal (HOW THE FUCK DID THOSE TWO GET MIXED UP?) The other day and it tasted SHIT and i used to love peroni.
Great shout on Copper Dragon Wungit! Pippin is my favourite too. I've been meaning to visit the brewery in Skipton, they have a bistro there which is meant to be good.

My favourite non natural tasting cider is Sam smiths reserve. I've only ever had it at sinclairs oyster bar in Manchester. Thirsty at the thought of next Thursday.
I'll second one of the ones Gelse mentioned and that's Thornbridge Jaipur, superb IPA. Also Wells Waggle Dance Marston's Old Empire Wells Banana bread beer
Come on my friends, lets make for the hills. They say there's gold but I'm looking for thrills.

Thats the one beer I ve tried and liked, had to be cold though, and it was £1.00 a bottle in our local Lidls. I ve tried to like other real ales, but I just cant get on with them, and I have tried believe me..
