AVB is a good young manager , he came to us promising great things , but alienated core players , and at times for no reason other than being a tit .. Not sure Spurs lads feeling on him , how he's been there , but this is a real thumping .. not done great of late Spurs .. be gone soon I reckon ..
Suarez cunt or not is having some season .. if gnasher hadn't been banned at the start he could be looking at record breaking season for goals .. his price-tag is steadily rising ..
I don't think he is the best finisher. He misses a lot of chances but creates so many for himself. The game today was a good example. Aguero the best finisher for me.

tactical genius AVB..... can't seem to understand that playing a high back line with a slow CB is suicide. JT must have been glad to see the back of him.

Steve, I'm gonna disagree mate. He's a clown. Don't rate him at all. Too many decisions at our place were baffling, starting with his obsession with a high backline that contains John Terry. There was also the drop Lampard/play Merieles thing which was a joke. I will say he was always doomed to have problems at our place simply because anyone going from DVD bloke to Manager a couple of years later was always gonna have a job convincing people. But ultimately, results will do that if you're talented. What's happened with Spurs is unreal. This was a top 4 side under Arry. Playing (*cough...clears throat....) attractive football (there, I said it Tim ) so he's only running to keep up - and spunked a 100 mill or thereabouts too to do so. This team looks a shadow of Arrys Spurs and thats even factoring in no Bale. If Spurs had kept Redknapp, they'd be challenging for the league.

Glenn , your spot on about your summary of him , my only point being I think he's a good young manager .. he needs experience , and needs to learn a few things of course he does .. was good at Porto , ok a nothing league really , but young managers are gonna make mistakes , at our place Glenn he was too forceful , tried to stamp his feet , and have an attitude that really fucked a lot of our team off ..

I'm not sure he is a good young manager though Steve. There's plenty of young managers about in the English game who I'd rate as 'good young managers' mate. Liverpool have appointed one. So have Everton. He undoubtedly did something right at Porto but too much was made of his Mourinho link in terms of him getting the job with us - almost like an improved Mourinho . All in all mate, he's had 2 big jobs now and been a disaster on both if you weigh it all up. The yids look like they've no heart now whatsoever. Losing 6 at City was shocking irrespective of how good City were on the day. Heard Clive Allen say this morning that Dawson needs a player with pace beside him and he's worked with him over the years. Also, if you recall the Arsenal Yid game this season, Jamie Redknapp highlighted how the high backline was costing them in the game as Arsenal were rampant going forward. it was all the hall marks of that game at SB when Arsenal stuck 4 or 5 passed us and JT looked shocking.
all in all mate, I'm not a fan
