I think City are favourites. Although I was quietly confident for Chelsea, it looks like the lack of a prominent stricker is going to do us. I definately think the Liverpool are worth an outside bet. I told my mate that a few months ago, who said no chance. What with the way they are scoring, City not being slightly suspect at the back and Chelsea not being able to finish teams off you never know.

The good money is on City.
good to see you really 'put yourself out there' and backed City openly....now they look nailed on
Citys to lose. OF the banana skins left, only Everton, Arsenal and Liverpool are realistic ones. And they'll steam Arsenal (who doesn't sorry Dave ) and they' grind it out at Everton. The Pool game they can afford a draw. seemingly city have a bad record at Goodison
Liverpool will just fall short. The goals they're scoring gives them a chance but they'll need to win both our game and the city one to have any chance and I don't think they'll get 6 points from those. We'll suffer for playing most of the season with no front man....virtually but still exceeded expectations. And now Madrid are faltering, there's no-one in the CL I really fear.
City at evens or better this weekend must surely be one of the best of the season

The reason you have suffered is not because you were "playing most of the season with no front man"
Its because you dropped points home and away to West Brom
and the reason we dropped points to the relegation fodder like WBA is lack of a decent front man but don't worry. those points wont cost us the league so settle down

On the subject of not having a decent front man, didn't your club spunk 50 million on Torres!
Your gonna argue he's shit, thats a lot of shit for 50 million, but looking at his track record he used to score for fun at Athletico Madrid and Liverpool, maybe, just maybe it's not the striker thats the problem.

straight forward answer Chelsea ...think man city have in in them to fuck up as they have bottled quite a few big games in the past..wigan springs to mind.

Watch this space.
strange that, as plenty of Liverpool including TV pundits like big nose thought he was the problem for 2 seasons at Liverpool before he left. we've spunked plenty of money on strikers who've been rubbish - long before the Russian came as well but if you think of it this way....if we hadn't spent dopey money on strikers then some of that investment wouldn't currently be financing Russias move to take over the world.....so really, we're doing the world a favour by spending silly money on strikers
anyways, this seasons was always Citys to lose. Next season with a few additions, we'll go closer.....oh and don't forget, we're still in the CL. That's that big trophy with the big ears since you've probably never seen it up close....it's the one we won in 2012.....

yeah, you need a generous Russian mate. you might end up with Singha beer instead of Newcastle brown being sold in the ground but small price to pay...... But word of warning.....I'd avoid Yank owners. They're to blame for everything from Global warming to SUBO.....well, at least, that's what a couple of scousers told me.....
