I honestly can't decide. One minute I'm sure Froch is going to win fairly easily and the next I'm questioning whether old father time will catch up with him - it has to at some point.
There's no doubt that Froch completely underestimated Groves the first time around and that will have affected his training and mindset. This time he won't have made the same mistake.
Tbh mate, when the rematch were announced I thought Froch were mad to take on the fight again, Groves was robbed IMO. But stepping back and looking at the bigger picture Froch did underestimate his opponent.
Plus might I add, Groves is Chelsea, so come on Froch, smash him!
Did Froch underestimate him or his he simply much slower and older?
Groves for me, he can comfortably outbox him in 12 or he can stop him at any stage in the fight. Froch will walk onto plenty of shots, he is shit technically, always has been.
Tempted to lump on Groves, the only thing holding me back is if Groves go to war - he has a weaker chin and there are question marks over his stamina.
So groves was unlucky last time? He was facing the wrong way crouched down grappling the refs leg!! I think froch inside 8 rounds. Unfortunately for groves it appears he don't take a good dig, as shown earlier in his career when Kenny Anderson almost stopped him, who is UK LEVEL not world level.
I think Froch would have stopped Groves last time anyway but it was stopped prematurely. He should have been given an eight count and allowed to carry on but he would have been stopped or KO'd not long after.
Good fight, Froch controlled it and Groves was left to make the odd half hit on the back of Froch flurries. Froch played a good technical game like he does best, kept to his game plan and made that jab work brilliant. Even started to fool me in the end rounds as it 'looked' like he was slowing down, just invited Groves in for the goodnight. Good boxing.
Fancied Groves tonight, but what a punch that was I didn,t see that coming or Groves,Mind fairplay to him for trying to get up but respect to Froch still champion
