it's certainly one reason why instead of going to 10 games a season circa in the mid 90s, I go to 2-3 now a season. And don't feel bad about it. They've got what they wanted. The whole game is now geared towards many fans attending a few games than loyal fans attending many games. That's what the clubs want so that the 'many' can buy all the trimmings - 3xreplica shirts a season, tv channels, 3 different sports channels to watch games, etc...... Once they finally get PL matches being played in Bejing or NYC that'll be the death knell of the ST holder. Unless you've got the readies to fly yourself out for that....in which case (in our case) it's unlikely you were around pre SKY anyways....... As Des says though, it'll reach a point where it grips you during the season - it always does.....
"The nightmares invading the sleep of Bayern fans involve four horsemen of the Champions League Apocalypse riding towards them. As the faces come into focus, they will recognise Frank Lampard, Cole, Petr Cech and Drogba. All were immense..."
Leeds were trying to buy Agard from Rotherham. He couldn't agree terms with us, and had now dropped a division to join Bristol City! I know we are shite at the moment, but, he has proved that it's all about money for him. Glad I don't waste money on football anymore..
