Fucking hate shaving, also hate the few days after having had a shave when me stubble is that fucking sharp it catches on tshirts/shirt collars etc. pet hate is collar-bobble, have fucked more stuff up and chucked it out because of that than anything else.

Do you use a safety/straight razor? Been using a merkur 34c for about a year. Been trying a few of the soaps and creams aswell. You are right about the tools.
Being a far from intelligent tradesman, what kind of job dictates you need to shave? Beard aside, I certainly wouldnt be getting through the door. I dont like work enough to have any khunt schooling me on my appearence.

I have the same safety razor as you (Merkur) fantastic bit of kit. I use a shaving brush and find that the soap is much better value and easy to get a good foam, although saying that Bluebeards do a lovely cream. I admit its not for everyone but you save a bucket load of money. I cant believe people still by the those shit modern razors by gillete.

My old job at McDonalds you had to shave, could wear a snood if it was for religious purposes.
Since leaving there, i've grown a really shit beard which still gets me 0 birds.
Face-fitt dust masks , I think that's what its for. Sure its for lads working in asbestos, or with lots of dust particles that sort of thing? Can't stand shaving either, find it very irritating. Shouldn't need it for general work I don't think
