Citeh will spend big again, until FFP gets a grip on them. Sadly, the scousers will get better, although VAR would have undone them this year with the amount of dodgy decisions that went their way.
Tottenham are years behind the above, and it looks like he might dismantle the team and start again.
United and Chelsea: the best these two can hope for is a takeover. United by the Saudi's (yuck) and Chelsea by that Billionaire United fan that's sniffing round them (united are too expensive for him)
Arsenal can just fuck off and take their shit fancam supporters with them
tottenham aren't as far away as people think. I honestly believe if Levy and the board dispensed with their normal approach and really backed him, they'd be formidable. He's able to get young, decent players and make them very good. With the odd big purchase in key areas, I think they'd be close. Look at the difference Van Dyke made to them. Squad depth might catch them but if they kept people fit..... anyways won't happen because Levy won't spend Christmas. City will struggle to keep the 'eye of the tiger' going now..... rarely does a team do 3 in a row. Will they have the appetite to do it again? Not sure at all but they will spend again. funny you mention the scousers and decisions. A few things unlikely to happen again at key times - Suarez missed pen, the Everton keeper mistake, the late yid own goal.....they certainly got the rub at vital times as well.
we're fucked. IF you're not sure how fucked, the fact we're the only club interested in coutinho tells you the shambles. We sold Ake who could become a 40 million centre back soon. Hazard involved in 40+ % of our goals....Not taking 80 million of Barca for Willian 18 months ago....it's shocking on the footballing side. But we're doing great in anglo-Jewish relations.....

Unfortunately mate. I hate to say it but they are a brilliant side and to see how he's got them playing with Jordan fucking Henderson and Milner is mindblowing.
@Glenn. I fear they'll win it next year too but they did have a fair amount going their way through the season and no major injuries to speak of. I also think they're a better side when chasing, as soon as they had a comfortable lead at the top they had their worst spell of the season. As soon as they were playing catch up they were at it again. I hate the heavy metal cunt but you have to admire what he's doing at the vermin [frown] They'll batter Spurs in Madrid I reckon.
As for United I don't know where to start. I wouldn't be arsed if they binned every single player off, I don't care for any of them to be honest. Rashford was a shining light but if it's true he's stalling on a new contract and making ridiculous demands then he can fuck off an' all.
got to agree Andy. I don't mind Klopp and hands up....am very jealous of what he's brought although trophys hasn't featured yet but no doubt he's instilled something. Reminds me of Mourinho first time around only more likeable for the average bear.
For the first time, I actually contemplated Utd declining further....seemed unthinkable not long ago but money guarantees nothing and if you've a cancer around the club and it ain't cut out, it'll spread alright. I'm not sure Ole will last as I don't trust those running the club to give him enough time. The Twitter/606 brigade will have his head before that happens and the septics will react from across the pond.

Rather them than Saudi's. Just.
We are fucked. As for who Id sell? All of the cunts except Lindelof and the young kids coming thru. The rest are dispensable, even De Gea who I'd normally want to keep, but if he doesnt want to be there then he can go.
There's talk this morning of £140m for Pogba. £140m for him? Snatch their fucking hand off. I get that hes a marketeers dream but £140m???
Rashford (well his mum) wants £200k pw. Really? My oldest daughter was seeing one of his teammates in the u23's at the time he got his lucky break and even he was surprised that he did so well as he wasn't even the best player in the u23's.
United is a fucking mess and there's only one fella who -for me- could even start to sort it out but he's just recovered from major brain surgery, is now retired and doesnt really fit in with the new regime at the club (ie Woodward and his cronies).
He's the one who was in charge when Ramsees blew his chance at the Ciff
Chelsea look like they are in a similar state, although they've had a half decent season by usual standards. Never known a club who have qualified for the Champions League and got to two cup finals be so dissatisfied with the manager though.
This transfer ban looks like it could fuck things up though, given the fact that that Hazard is off to Madrid. He looks at bargain at the fee which I have seen touted at £86m.
I'm a big admirer of Potch and championed him before Mouriniho was appointed but that spurs team looks like its going to lose Trippier, Eriksen, Alderweireld and at some point in the future, Kane. Ali is another one who could be tempted by a spell in Spain & was until recently linked with a move away.
So there'll be some major rebuilding work there to be done.
Whereas citeh and liverpool will just add to their squads and become stronger. Citeh especially.
In all honesty, I see citeh dominating whilst Pep remains there which looks like it'll be another two years at least. His will to win, attention to detail and of course unlimited funds trump everything else in this country.
Klopp will get fucked off at not being able to win anything against pep and citeh's dirty money and end up in Spain just like he did when he walked away from Bayerns dominance.
His record so far of 5 major trophies in 18 years is not a good return for a manager of his stature. Unless he starts to win silverware then he will be regarded as a serial bottler.

Unless Potch arrives at OT soon, I don't see another challenger coming for 2-3 years unless Spurs invest and retain. And I can't see City winning another 3 PL's on top of the last 2.

In fairness to Mr ramseescfc, he did make a favourable impression on Fergie. It was only when the big man called him over and asked where he was from that his fate was sealed. .
"Where are you from son?"
"Belfast" replied Mr ramseescfc, proudly sticking out his pigeon chest and standing on his tip toes to give the illusion of being a bit tall for his age. To which Fergie turned to his number 2 and said "get rid, the last thing this club needs is another George Best"
I could tell Fergie was impressed. Right up until Whiteside starting chatting to me..... to be honest, Archie Knox said I was too fat....a cruel thing to take. You'll understand that Tone as I'm sure plenty of birds have said it to you..... And Fergie ditched Knox, didn't he?....
I actually have a few pics which I'd stick up if I knew what is the new tinypics including my stint at The Theatre of Dreams against Salford Schools when a young Ryan Wilson (pre shagging the sister in law days) was playing. We won 1-0

Interesting you mention Potch arriving at OT, I can see that happening IF spurs win the CL. Woodward will persuade OGS to resign to avoid any more embarrassment and we'll nip in and get Potch.

Indeed.
I wanted them back in the Prem, because they are an interesting bunch and because Elland Road away is always a top day out.
But you have to smile at whats happened....
16 years away from it, madness that. As you say it was always a good day out at Leeds, they had a cracking side for a few years until Ridsdale treat it like a personal bank account.
Quote: haxby wrote in post #1116Views on the possible Newcastle takeover lads? Ashley or sheiks plaything ?
If it happens am all for it, am staying positive, but doubtful at the same time, bigger club now then Man City where so who knows mate,
The only issue that you could have with this takeover is that Leeds will get bought (Qatari's rumoured to be interested), the Saudi's will step up and no doubt buy United, Chelsea will end up being sold by the russian crook.
The premership could end up with United, City, Leeds, Chelsea and Newcastle all being state owned by lunatics with unlimited funds, so success wont be as easy and as guaranteed as citeh have had it recently.
Agreed but there’s no other option if you want to compete, am just glad where rid of fatty, making Europe would do me, if would could complete in champions league even better,
