Sounds like you're signed up with eBay International shipping (they would probably have sent a mail saying you'd be enrolled unless you opted out). Basically foreign buyers see a certain price, you ship to eBay's shipping centre (hence paying UK postage) and they do the international shipping. I like it, as long as you ship promptly there's no risk of them claiming they didn't receive it. I had a Polish buyer who messaged me saying tracking was showing as delivered but he didn't have the item and it had been returned. Mailed him to explain eBay handled the shipping so to to contact them and not heard any more.

Presume address is postcode DE55 2GF?
Dont panic John its this.
Works a treat and never had an issue with it. You send it to a central holding place who then ship it to the buyer. You get your advertised postage and the buyer will have paid a bigger postage price to cover the service.
I've sold a couple of items to Europe via the global shipping programme and haven't had any problems.
You need to make sure you put the order ref on the parcel it's the ref that should end in IT. You can find it if you click on view order details and it's just under reference ID, if you don't write this on the parcel it will probably go missing.
It's also well worth paying the extra to send it recorded to the shipping centre.
