Switched life support off Former Newcastle United goalkeeper Pavel Srnicek has died at the age of 47, nine days after suffering a cardiac arrest his native Czech Republic.

A few of my mates had booked him for a talk-in next May, he was just in the UK last week promoting a book he was about to release. In good health. Very sad mate. One of my heroes growing up.
