sold a berghaus jacket. nice discreet red one. sold for £42 quid. he paid and i posted.
now he claims it has a stain, ink? and i wrote 'immaculate condition'... wants money back and postage costs. i never saw the stain, maybe it happened during postage? its not on my photos. have i got a leg to stand on? feel like telling him to fuck off but rely on ebay to sell sometimes when time are hard and don't want my account banning....
tell him to send back and prove it,i did this couple years ago with a si jacket, suddendly a msg came back saying it was small and not noticealble when worn so prob bollox and someone trying it on........................... PUSB
Tell him toa supply proof in relation to fault It may be a genuine problem that happened in post but sounds like a scammer to me Ebay is full of c11nts thats why I deleted my accounts
its the risk of a red for you and the usual crap if you dont refund them.... had this happen with an item i sent once and i knew it wasn`t the same jacket they sent back.... all they are probably doing is swapping it for a good clean example... ebay were useless as ever the rag i got back had a tear in it and that was a £180 sale !!! the joys of ebay !!! now when i sell on ebay i put a little cross on the wash tag before i send it so that wont happen again hopefully.... but i blame ebay as for a seller you got know fucking rights what so ever but as a buyer you can just bully the seller
tell him youll refund him,,also tell him you know someone in his area who will pick it up...see if he wants someone one his doorstep!!
No chance re postage causing marks methinks but in poor light they would be hard to see - but of course I inspected the item in decent light...
Sorry to have to go through the hassle of refunds and all but I do not want to try and remove stains (possibly ink?) so would appreciate a refund. Zoom in on your original pics that were perhaps larger files than posted on ebay? The ones on ebay are not brilliant. I will attach a pic and send it through my email.
Cheers Den

surely paypal cant just take funds back? don't mind a back bit of feedback considering state of ebay market but cant be arse with all the fucking hassle. noticed he had messaged me asking for a buy now price and ended up winning the auction so was very keen on the jacket from the moment he set eyes on it.
Hi Den, checked the pics and cant see anything above the pocket but if your certain i'm happy to come and pick the jacket up in person. you live in whitby dont you? i have your address mate.
will keep you in the know lads. might make a good blog post. "You have officially been Off_Handed!"
Think you're handling this the right way. Had a bit of bother when I sold a Fjallraven jacket, chap I sold it to claimed it was 'filthy' and stains wouldn't come out. He sent me pics of it and obviously he'd either posted a different coat or gone on a bender and fucked it up....funny how it took several days for him to notice these stains!
Shame ebay protects people like this so much, but what can you do....
got a similar chancer bothering me at the minute thom, sent him a jacket last week and he filed a dispute cos its not turned up after 5 days (!!) told him to be patient got a threatening email back off him basically accusing me of robbing him. Didnt send it recorded though so ebay will no doubt rule in his favour and make me refund him. Sick and tired of this now seems every deal i do on ebay has issues.
to be honest its the first time i've had an issue. i don't like selling shit stuff and look after my clobber so not had a problem over last 18months of selling this and that, 100% feedback all good.
not heard from this guy again tho, but he's probably told ebay i'm gonna go round there and eat him alive. i listed '80sCasual' in the listing and linked to off_hand in the description, he'll be claiming i'm threatening him wide-boy style. shame i cant fight my way out of a wet paper bag... althought i do get a fairly high score on the punch machines in service stations ;-)

Always send ebay goods special delivery. These twats know that if they don't have to sign for it that they can have you off. Makes my blood boil

Yeah true, but Royal Mail know exactly where a Special delivery package is. I've sent recorded before and they can't trace them like they can a SD.
