All the lads in my new job area play golf......so will have to jump on the band wagon me thinks....
My office is out in the sticks and only 3 minuites drive from the local golf course so no excuses really. Plus one of me best mates is a PGA pro so mates rates lessons for me!!!! : )
haven't really got an excuse not to other than my patience is piss poor when it comes to sport...ha ha

Used to enjoy a round of golf!! havnt played in ages and was shit when i was good.....but as everyone who's shit at something says "it's the taking part that counts"......though that's not strictly true, as i think it's the breakfast before you play and the piss up after that actualy count!

started a few months back, Left hander. Really got into it and to be fair i arent too bad, beat most of my pals who have been playing a long while and have had lessons etc... What camera did you take that pic with Gelse ?

I'm fucking terrible, my Mrs' old man works for footjoy....one of the biggest companies in golf so he/she Tell's me, gets endless free Titleist golf gear and footjoy stuff, also has a hugo boss uniform for work, not too bad to be honest. Brand new BMW company car every 3 years, Had the latest 5 series estate this time, quality. The perks of his job are just brilliant, not a fan of the game myself but i'd love his job just for the flexibility, benefits, pay and just the way his life easily revolves around his passion.

He was throwing loads of samples in the bin the other day....typical eh ?.....apparently they are pretty strict on giving out freebies and stuff.

He showed me some of there upcoming clothing ranges and the polos were the exact same cut as the RL golf polos, had a nice quality to them aswell, hoping i get one of those for my birthday !!

Footjoy do some excellent gear, as do some other golfing brands.

I have some Ping Polo's I have had years, and they are still going strong.

I had neigh on bought a brand new set few month ago but due to having a operation on my elbow thats been put back till around christmas i guess

Loads at work play great sport imo to pass time away etc nothing better sunny day on the green

Get some customised mate. Best thing I ever did and has knocks about 5 shots off my game.

Because im tall and got bear hands, turns out I needed a extra inch on the club shaft and 3 extra grips on each club!

Normally free aswell if you buy from certain shops.

My mate who gave me my first lesson had customised clubs, lovely set. Going to get some on a couple of weeks now but won't be customised just yet!

Its the dobbin' course mate. I can imagine being on the 1st tee and seeing you come stubbling out of the bushes!

you ever played at walton gav? Best course in town imo and a lovely pint in the clubhouse, £1200 a year membership is a bit steep for me though...

I do play there a little mate, a bloke I know is a member so get cheapish prices.
