Havnt been fishing in years. Dont mind the occasional hunt aswell in the summer. Never caught a rabbit yet, just end up getting pissed up, riding about on the quad and just picking off some pigeons for supper?
We have a golf club where i work and my plan was to learn and join, ended up going to edinburgh with them and just went on the lash whilst they played golf

Miss my golfing took it up again 2 years ago, then moved down here and cant be arsed as all i`ll end up doing is walking round the course talking to some stuck up farmer about his John Deere cos the courses in wiltshire are nice but so foooooooookin expensive
all good fun though, paying doesn`t bother me but been into a few courses down here and thought foooooook that as they are really up thier own arses, i like a club where you can have fun aswell as laugh but ffs just cos i got an old audi 80 the one old boy said sorry your cars over 10years old you`ll have to park it out in the hotel carpark 15 mins walk to the club house told him where to shove his 18th flag
My pal keeps pestering me to go and play but I have tried endless times and it makes me angry taking chunks out the green and walking round for hours, better things to do ,will take it up when Im 65 if im still alive

Started golfing with my Pop about 5 years back - I'm basic shit around 18 holes (don't think I've ever broken 100), but we get some beers in and a cigar in the sun. Good day out, usually.
Played alot from age 12 ( now 38 ) until about 5 years ago, played off 3 at my lowest and off 4 handicap for years. Took it up again last year but still struggling with a shoulder problem so have to be careful although the 12 handicap I got does help. Hoping to get better this year but cant ever see me returning to the low rounds of a few years ago. Love the craic & fresh air now with the lads, tend to piss about more than take it serious. Played too much competitive golf over the years tbf.
Don`t play Golf myself but a few friends are county players for Shropshire,lots of good Golf Clubs & Courses as well.Oswestry were i live Ian Woosnam learnt how to play Golf.

Yup. I play a bit of a golf. get out and about around Warwickshire and Stratford using tee off times.co.uk for cheap rounds £10/15. Like you say above, good craic especially when getting a tour up Scotland or Portugal. In fact give us a shout if any fancy a round?

knocked it on the head a couple of years back when the cost got to much, keep thinking of getting back into it but £800 a year to play at my local course is a bit steep for me these days. Think Jase/mopfloyd is a handy player got a hazy memory of clocking his PGA tour card at the last sheffield meet.

Yeah, couldn't justify/afford membership myself but like can get pretty good 2foreones and discounts around. The old mans a member at Abbeydale and they get cheap passes for guests so a £10 here and there suits me an my fairweatherness ha.

Just got back from the jolly. Played shit the first day, but then played below my handicap today (12).
Ended up in a strip club last night in Boston. Twas a bit ropey but one stripper did say I dressed nice (Probly just trying to get some money out of me, which she did ........ and so did many others!
