For me Pogba's not the problem, the problem is the obscene amount of money sloshing around in football, at some point someone has to pay for it and that'll be the fans

People fed up, can't afford it or mostly streaming matches to save money. ...sky have now even started culling presenters on various sports. Clubs now spending amazing amounts not just top 4. Noticed this morning a feature on China and how they're going crazy for Pl now. ..so there's the next cash cow. I expect murdoch has been hammering all his political contacts to clamp down on Web streaming. Cunts just see fans as one big cash cow. Fuck em all. Football on my terms nowadays. Seen me plenty of Sundays now head to the gym rather than watch the "super Sunday" double header. Swerve going to games now and spend on something else. Watching 1 footed limited ability footballers who can't head a ball but get 70k a week and have no allegiance giving 40% effort in front of people who've shipped the equivalent of the mortgage payments on 90 minutes football...It aint all that. :-)

20 years ago today Shearer signed for £15 Million (£25.39 million today). Baring in mind he's the greatest striker the Premier League has seen, it shows you how mad the money has went.

That is why I watch non league. £6.00 a match, my children get in free and it is a great atmosphere. Over 700 supporters on a good day and average 300.
Not sure how anyone can take football seriously anymore. The money has been obscene for yonks but as soon as players started pulling £100,000 a week it was all over imo. The Pogba price is a joke but when Crystal Palace are offering £30M+ for a player then you know it's gone completely potty. There also seems to be a lack of top quality players available so that is also a factor.
