I've been getting into Old Speckled Hen recently. Also like that Marstons ESB (i think thats what its called). Still always seemt to drink lager down the pub though. Never know what to choose, so always just go for a lager. Oh and that wells bombadier golden ale is rather nice.
Can you buy real ale in bottles in the supermarket then??
only drink cider these days but dont mind a pint of some of the traditional ciders they do in real ale pubs. You know about it the next day when you've had a session on the old rosie though!

Yes, Wrighty, Asda stock a fair few, they do boxes of 4/6 from different breweries too

How potent is that Old Rosie.
First time i tried that it cost me a brand new pair of Police sunglasses, a pair of jeans with a big hole in the knee, Boss shoes scuffed t'fuck and grazing on my hands. Don't remember how i got home but at some point i must have been crawling.

aye it knocks you for six a session of that stuff, think it weighs in about 7% so tend to drink it by the half pint or i end up doing the front crawl home
real ale man myself backin the 80s used to work for a very small brewery( pitfields) and we won camras best beer in britain think it was86/87 fantastic achievement for us as there was only 2 off us working full time.
