Just uploaded the mix I did from Thursday night at the Horatia, my mrs asked Greg and he said his set will go up on soundcloud too so I'll add that to this thread when it's up, and I will add another Boogie Cartel lad's mix up when he's put it up, well worth a listen his is more disco than mine, lot's of summer feeling in it but full of edits house 80's synth/electro and disco, just click the link and it's there.....
Nice one S Hows Greg keeping nowadays????
He was sound mate, he was a bit pissed off playing as the system in there was hooked up to the record/cdr decks we were playing on, so when he came on he had to switch everything over as he was playing on a laptop ? which baffled me as I thought he was vinyl purist ? must have changed his stance last couple of years ? and the sound went down was a bit quiet, good night though, fully recovered.
Yeah he rarely plays much vinyl unless prior booked, Uses PCDJ too If I remember right, Did he not have his reel to reel on the go then???? The thing with greg is he has all these little loops what he likes to jingle with, Will have to get him over for a summer all dayer and get you up here too, be a right day..

He had the 8 track reel to reel ja' he had it plugged it into the pioneer mp3 mixer, what I don't get is why if you change to digital doesn't he just hook up a sampler or use digital samples ? Would be up for a summer party pal will have to sort a date out

The Three Degree's in their 1970's formation of Fayette Pinkney, Valerie Holiday and Sheila Ferguson, on the Maybe album, track is collage Ja but this is an edit of it, the original is such a beautiful record
Great stuff, listening to a few of your own mixes on soundcloud, great stuff. Saw mr Wilson not so long ago in Manchester i don't remember him playing off a laptop but there's not a lot i can remember from that night.
